Nubokind is an Indian baby products brand that makes safe, research-backed products for infants in their first year.
The range covers two things a baby uses every day in that period: teethers, and high-contrast visual material for early sensory development.
The brand was founded by Aditya Chopra, who holds a Master's from the University of Oxford. He started Nubokind after returning to India and noticing how much of what surrounds a newborn is plastic, including the objects that spend the most time in a baby's mouth. The research finding behind the decision was that infants carry roughly 20 times the microplastic concentration that adults do. Nubokind operates under Rigzin Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd. and is based in Faridabad, Haryana.
Nubokind teethers are made from food-grade silicone and are certified under BIS IS 9873, the Indian safety standard for toys. That certification covers more than a single chemical claim. It tests for harmful substances including lead and phthalates, checks for choking hazards and sharp edges, and verifies that a product holds up to saliva and daily chewing without tearing or deforming. Most teethers sold online in India carry no equivalent Indian certification, and nothing on a typical marketplace listing lets a parent tell the difference.
The high-contrast cloth books and flashcards are built around how newborn vision actually develops. A baby's visual acuity at birth is around 20/400, which means black and white patterns are close to the only visual input they can reliably resolve in the early weeks. Most toys given to newborns are designed for babies aged six months and older, and are too visually complex to be useful. Nubokind's cloth books and flashcards are made for the 0 to 12 week window, printed on soft fabric that is safe for a baby to mouth, and are equally suited to propped tummy time sessions.
Every product is free from BPA, phthalates and toxic dyes, and is manufactured to Indian safety standards. The brand works on a principle it calls intentionality over abundance, grounded in Montessori thinking: a baby does not need twenty toys, but a few things matched to their stage of development and made safely.
Nubokind has served more than 20,000 parents across India, holds a rating of 4.97 out of 5 from 338 verified reviews, and its products carry the Amazon's Choice designation.
